Experience

Mr. Wise’s experience and practice include:
  • Commercial law and business transactions, both domestic and international. Examples are forming companies, joint ventures, strategic alliances and cooperation arrangements; commercial contracts of all types, including (as examples only): licensing, franchising, leasing, distributorships, sales agency, sourcing and sales; employment law and contracts; banking and financing transactions; intellectual property; visas; international trade; computer (hardware and software) and internet law and contracts; litigation, arbitration and mediation; taxation (domestic and international);

  • Sports and entertainment law and contracts, both domestic and international;

  • Commercial negotiating, both domestic and international. Mr. Wise’s legal studies and knowledge of foreign legal systems and business practices, work in other countries, and foreign language capabilities, facilitate the handling of legal and tax matters with international components.
