
Stuart Weichsel

Stuart Weichsel is a tax, corporate, and business attorney with broad experience in partnership/LLC tax and corporate issues, corporate formation and transactions, and trust and estate issues. He negotiates and drafts LLC Operating Agreements, Shareholder Agreements, LLC Membership Purchase Agreements, and similar corporate documents.
Mr. Weichsel works with clients on domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs, and the formation, restructuring, and dissolution of limited liability corporations. He also reviews corporate and employment documents for tax issues, including income, deferred compensation, and employment tax, and represents clients in tax controversies, including New York state income tax and sales tax audits.
Additionally, Mr. Weichsel is a trusts and estates attorney with extensive experience in estate and trust planning, administration, and litigation. He also advises clients with respect to the fiduciary duties of a trustee.
Stuart Weichsel has been an Adjunct Professor of Business Law in the Economics Department of Hunter College of the City University of New York. He started his career as a clerk for the late Chief Judge Tannenwald of the U.S. Tax Court, Washington D.C. He graduated from Georgetown University Law Center.
